The LeadHer Initiative officially began its inaugural cohort with an evening centered on connection, excitement, and purpose. We welcomed our LeadHer girls and their parents and guardians as we introduced them to the heart of the program, shared what they can expect throughout the year, and reviewed the expectations and commitments that will help make their LeadHer experience meaningful and successful. It was an opportunity for families to learn more about the journey ahead and for our girls to begin building connections with one another and the LeadHer team.

One of the most meaningful moments of the evening was our Letter to My Future Self activity. Each girl wrote a personal letter to herself reflecting on who she is at the beginning of her LeadHer journey, her hopes and goals, and the young woman she hopes to become. The letters were sealed and will remain unopened until the end of the cohort, when each girl will have the opportunity to read her words again and reflect on how much she has grown.

Of course, we also made time to capture the beginning of this special journey through photos and shared moments together. Our Launch was more than an introduction to the program—it marked the beginning of a year of leadership, service, personal growth, new relationships, and unforgettable experiences. This was only the beginning of their journey to Serve. Lead. Grow.
